The Deputy Managing Director of Maintenance will oversee the maintenance operations. This role involves ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all maintenance activities while supporting the overall strategic goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hydropower maintenance, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Management:
1) Lead and manage the maintenance department, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
2) Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal plant performance.
3) Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork within the maintenance team.
2. Maintenance Operations:
1) Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
2) Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
3) Monitor and analyze maintenance performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
3. Budget and Resource Management:
1) Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
2) Coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts and materials.
3) Optimize the use of technology and tools to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Technical Expertise:
1) Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team on complex issues.
2) Stay updated with the latest advancements in hydropower technology and maintenance practices.
3) Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts for major equipment failures.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
1) Collaborate with other departments, including operations, engineering, and safety, to ensure seamless plant operations.
2) Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on maintenance activities and performance.
3) Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and equipment suppliers.
6. Training and Development:
1) Identify training needs and opportunities for the maintenance team.
2) Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of maintenance personnel.
3) Mentor and coach team members to support their professional growth and development.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance management within the hydropower or energy sector.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. In-depth knowledge of hydropower plant maintenance practices and technologies.
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
